I'm so bad at this!
Well, like everytime I start journaling, I fail to be consistent. I really thought I would be better at this, but I'm not. This became one of those things that you get behind on, and all of a sudden you realize how far behind you are. So then I keep putting it off because I know how much I need to catch up on. So, here it is. Finally. The last 4 months of pictures. I did it. Now, if I can keep up on it from here on out! It feels good though. No more laying awake at night thinking about one more thing I needed to do today!
Here is E at 9 months rolling all over and getting stuck in places. She is so much fun, and getting to be an easier baby. She now is finally taking only bottles, something she gave up at 4 months. I had finally had enough of her only wanting to nurse, so I cut her off! She took the adjustment well, and has of her being 9 months old, she only takes formula. Yea for me! Elin sleeps throught the night, and occasionally needs a bottle in the night. She takes 2-3 naps a day and is so much fun. She is very smily and is now starting to wave when you say Hi or Bye-bye. Oh- she's cute!
Rylee ran a mile race and she was the 2nd girl! She finished with a time of around 7 minute something! She did so good, and of course her favorite part were the treats at the end!
In February, E learned to start rolling to get to things. Here she is next to Molly!
8 months
I thought it would be good if she could feed herself some actual food. Here is my attempt at encouraging self- feeding! It was a huge mess, and not successful at all!
Xmas 2010
We woke up Christmas morning at 5am. We heard the girls all together in Pyper's room and they had been up since about 4. We then all got up to open presents.
Pyper got a Glow in the Dark drawing station that she was hoping Santa would bring her.
Laney and her Fancy Nancy Doll from Santa
Ry got an Ipod shuffle from Santa, and also these taco shells she had been dying for!!
We headed up to Salt Lake to spend Christmas Day with my family. First stop was at Grandma Ruth's for turkey, lots of food, and more presents! Then, we went to Grandpa Ron's and Grandma Kris' for yep- more presents!
Pyp and her travel easel from Grandpa Ron
Laney with gifts from Aunt Sara
Pyper and her Jack blanket form Aunt Sara
Rylee with her peace sign lamp that Aunt Sara made!
We had such a fun Christmas Day being able to spend time with ALL our family. We got so many great things from everyone and just enjoyed being with family. It is such a crazy day, but it is well worth it!
December 2010
December is my favorite time of the whole year. I absolutely love Christmas time- Everything about it! Here are some things we did in December........
Parents Day Lunch at Washington Elementary. I splurged and got a pizza to take for us! This was the first time Rylee allowed herself to eat with me in public! Isn't she too young for that?
Dave's school had a fundraiser for Sub for Santa, and the teacher who collected the most money from students had to wear a Santa suit to school. Of course, Dave won because the kids love him and he is such a good sport.
Here are the girls in their Christmas dresses Grandma Kris bought them. Such pretty girls!
