10/10

Well, I am proud to say that I am doing very well in school. I just got my paper back from English and got 10/10 on it.My professor even commented "excellent work"! I did it all by myself. Well, Dave did proof read it once I had already written it all and I fixed a few things but I did it all on my own! It feels so good to be doing well. I have a much better work and study ethic than I did when I went to school years ago, and it feels very good. I know it will get harder as I go on, but I am off to a very good start, and it feels great!

Update...Finally!

Wow! It has been a while since the last post. Lots of things happening, and I will upload pictures very soon. Christmas came and went. It was very fun! Spent time up in Salt Lake after xmas, and no strep throat this time. Laney did end up visiting the ER with an ear infection. Why do they ALWAYS act up at night after InstaCare is closed?
After Xmas, the rains came down and the floods came up! All except for the rain. Yep- we flooded our basement. Well, WE didn't. The contractors who are building homes above us tapped into the existing sewer lines and us along with 3 neighbors got water up through our drains in the basements. Dave came home to an inch of mud everywhere in the basement. What a mess. Thanks to the help of some great family, friends and neighbors, we were able to get everything out and cleaned up. Now the excitement of putting the basement back together again.
School has started, and I am doing GREAT. The library literacy class I have to take is just busy work, but it is helpful. My online English class is good, and it sure helps to be married to an English teacher who proof- reads my papers before I turn them in. It is really fun to have to pay attention to things I am studying, and have it pay off when I get 100% on my quizzes.
Girls are busy with school and they are doing so well. I am sure that when I plug in my camera I will have more to post, but for now- this is it. I will do pictures within the next day or so.
Went to the dr last week, and the baby is looking great. I am now 16 weeks, which before has been the danger zone, but so far so good. Heparin injections are keeping my legs and stomach bruised, but its not too bad. Giving me good practice!
More to come later, and with pictures!
