Family Home Evening

Last night was FHE. For years, we never did anything on Monday nights for family night. We actually dreaded when Rylee learned the days of the week and knew when Monday came along! Since the beginning of this year, we have had FHE every Monday. The girls really look forward to it, and they are very good during it. Last night Pyper gave the lesson on testimonies. She did such a great job reading a story about a family bringing home a new baby and how they felt the spirit with that little baby being in their home. We then all shared our testimonies. Pyper said she knows Heavenly Father and Jesus are real. Rylee said that she knows when Satan comes into our heads we can sing a Primary song and "Satan will go back to Hell" (I think she was dying to say that word!). Laney said that she loves Heavenly Father and Jesus. Dave said how he knows we can all be together again after we die if we all live righteously. And I talked about how I know that Heavenly Father knows us very well, and wants us to be happy. It made Ry think alot when I said that Heavenly Father knows the girls better than Dave knows them. She was asking many grest questions that brought the Spirit into our home.
I am really glad we have been so consistent with this. It is nice to be able to have 20 minutes on a weekday where the girls are learning about the church. They have such strong testimonies and love for Heavenly Father and Jesus. I am so proud of them.
