Pyper is about the most creative, artsy girl I have ever known. She loves to make things, like this monster out of a box. Of course, Laney had to have one too!

Elin loves to hold on to my hair when I hold her. When I am gone and Elin is upset, Dave gets Pyper to hold her because she can always calm Elin down by letting her grab onto her hair!

First Day of School

Rylee and Pyper started another school year on August 11th. Laney then started preschool after Labor Day. It is so nice to have school
back in!

Dave's Birthday

August 28th was Dave's 33rd birthday. He had been out of town that day so we celebrated the night before with some friends at Red Robin. Sat, he had a XC meet, and the team did great. That night Dave's parents came over for dinner and cake and ice cream.

After the blessing

After the blessing we took the girls up to Oak Grove at the base of PineValley Mountain. We took some of the left over food from the lunch and had a picnic there. The girls had a fun time playing in the stream, and so did Molly!

Elin's Blessing Day

August 1, 2010
We blessed Elin today. It was such a great day. We had all of our family here which was so special. dave did a great job with the blessing. I am so grateful that Dave is worthy to do such a special thing. Elin was so good the whole day. She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress that was made by Grandma Linda. After church we had a very yummy luncheon before my family had to go back to Salt Lake. Thanks everyone for coming and participating in such a special day for our family.

Laney turns 4!

Happy 4th Birthday Laney!
I can't belive you are already 4 years old. You are so much fun to be around. I have loved having so much one on one time with you. You are such a good big sister to Elin, and one of my best friends. I love you Laney!

Laney's birthday was July 31st and we partied! The day started out with a friend party. She hadn't been feeling well, and we had to bribe her to put her swimsuit on for her party that morning. It wasn't long until she went inside to eat and put on her jammies. Poor thing did not feel good. Later that day she felt better and we had a BBQ with family for her next party. It was so fun to have everyone in our family together- for the 2nd weekend in a row! Thanks everyone for coming and participating in such a fun and busy weekend.

July 24

On the 24th of July, we went up Big Cottonwood canyon for a BBQ. It was really nice to get out of the heat and eat some really great food. It was so fun to have EVERYONE in our family there.
